About us
About us
Trellebystrands Camping AB is run by us, Jenny Digneus and Johan Helldin. For Jenny, the journey began back in 2015, when she took over as the third generation to be entrusted with running Trellebystrands Camping – a place that has been in the family for many years.
Since then, we have worked with great joy and commitment to develop the campsite and make it even better for our guests. Development is something that is constantly ongoing. In 2023, we built a new, modern service facility that can be used all year round, and in 2024, we built a new playground with a bouncy cushion – to the delight of both young and old.
It is important to us that everyone who visits us feels warmly welcomed. We strive to provide a personal and friendly service and to offer the kind of service that allows you to really relax and enjoy your stay with us.
We are humbled by the fact that there is always more to learn, and we welcome tips and ideas from our guests so that we can continue to develop Trellebystrands Camping together.
A warm welcome to our company
History
In 1962, Trellebystrands Camping was founded by Bror Löwendahl and Evert Sivik. At the time, Trellebystrands Camping was one of Sweden’s largest campgrounds, featuring both a dance floor by the beach and radio-controlled cars. In 1975, Willy Andersson purchased Trellebystrand; at the time, he also operated Gullmarsbadens Camping. He made major changes; for example, in 1981 he built the 70-meter-long water slide, which is still in operation with the original pumps. Willy enjoyed organizing dances at the lodge with his wife Irma, who also ran a large general store on the grounds, stocked with everything one might need for camping in the 1970s and 1980s.
Peter Andersson, Willy and Irma’s son who grew up with camping, took over in 1987. He renovated the facilities and reception area and further developed the campground by adding cabins. Today, he still has a small area with about 20 mobile homes located on the outskirts of the campground, known as Trellebyn.
Help and Fire Information
Help and Fire Information
We all know that accidents can happen, so here are some important points we would like you to be aware of.
- Contact 112 in case of emergency
- Contact Reception or, when Reception is closed, the campsite manager (+46 (0)523-121 83, press 2) so that we can assist in the event of an incident or emergency (particularly to ensure that emergency vehicles can easily access the site).
- In case of fire, we have the following assembly point: Parking lot, outside the barriers.
When barbecuing at your campsite, you should ALWAYS have a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby to prevent accidents.
- Keep an eye on our notice boards, where we will post immediate updates if a fire ban comes into effect.
It may also be useful to know that:
- If someone close to you or a passerby suffers cardiac arrest, there is a defibrillator available at the reception desk.
- All staff members have received training from Anticimex on how our defibrillator works.
The emergency number is 0523-12183, option 2.
In case of emergency, always call 112!
Address for mail and packages
Address for mail and packages
If you are expecting a letter or parcel to be delivered to you while you are at the campsite, it is particularly important to label it correctly. Letters are sometimes left in our locked mailbox or at reception, and if we do not recognize the name of the recipient, it is difficult for us to trace it to the right person. It is therefore important to include your full name and pitch number in the address field.
Important! We have a new address for the reception desk: Träleberg 338.
