Video Surveillance Trellebystrands Camping AB has chosen to monitor both indoor and outdoor areas using video surveillance with recording.
Clear signage is located at the welcome sign, at the entrance gate, and at the reception desk—a total of three signs strategically placed. The signs direct visitors to the website for further information. The same information available on the website is also available at the reception desk.
We use video surveillance based on a balancing of interests, whereby our legitimate interest in surveillance—to protect guests, employees, and company property, as well as to document any violations of the law—outweighs the data subjects’ need for protection of the personal data processed in connection with the recording.
The purpose of the monitoring is to:
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for employees
- Monitor the facility (outdoor areas, barriers, containers)
- Improve customer service
- Prevent and investigate thefts and break-ins
The recorded footage can be accessed by company management. Other staff members only have access to real-time footage. Camera monitors are located in the office and at the cash register.
The recorded footage is stored for a maximum of one week and can be made available upon request to anyone who wishes to view it, in accordance with the GDPR’s data protection regulations. To access the recorded footage, you must provide proof of identity and specify the date and time of your visit.
No information will be disclosed to third parties except in the event of a criminal investigation, in which case it will be disclosed to the Swedish judicial authorities.
If you believe that our video surveillance violates the law, you can file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority. For more information about your rights, visit imy.se.
